Yeah I would say that did it. The plugs had black carbon caked up on them.

wow......this is retarded anyway........fact of the matter is ! it depends on the car was cared for!!!! 8 of 10 third gens i drove were A)not boosting right or B) boosting too much and about to blowup



either way its bad.....obviously if you 2 psi the whole time it will never blowup unless the whole motor fills with carbon. main thing is MAINTAIN YOUR VEHICLE. one of my T2's had 150k miles on the ORIGINAL motor.........it finally broke due to the apex wearing down from 2mm to .1mm and breaking haha
