I did my oil pan once last week and it leaked like crazy. Now this time I re did it. It doesn't leak now.

For those of you that thought that you have to pull the motor to do your oil pan, you are wrong. Sorry I am trying to help here. All you have to do it take the sub frame down.

It was so easy to do the oil pan the second time. that fact that I was able to get the pan all the way out this time helped.

I took the sub frame down. It only took 2 bolts and 4 nuts and the thing was down and outta the way. I then dropped the pan. I used a ton of the black silicone.

I put the pan back on and tightened it. Then I let the car sit for about 20 hours. then I put the oil in. No LEAKS.

I forgot to add that I had broken one of the 10mm oil pan bolts when I put the pan on the first time. Thats not why it leaked though.

It took me 3 hours to do the pan the second time. That time includes the drilling and extracting of the 10mm bolt.

We used a lift to put the car up and then we used tranny stands to hole the engine up. I say we because I have to give my friend a lot of credit for helping me out.

I didn't use a gasket at all just a **** load of silicone. I am lucky to have a full auto shop to use for free.
