[quote name='nopistons93' date='Apr 24 2005, 02:41 PM']im thinking mod list will be in the following order:

1. PFC

2. intakes

3. Port wastegates and get a nice boost controller @ 12 psi

4. High flow or a midpipe i don't know about removing the emissions as of yet

5. coilovers or springs and shocks

6. basic small stuff in interior like guages, maybe new seat skins, alum brush guards, feed wing, just the average stupid small stuff to do.

what do you guys think of powdercoating the wheels black ?

- PFC or some sort of way to increase the fuel is a good idea.

- Why are you planning on porting the wastegate? Is there a problem controlling boost? I suggest getting a boost gauge and quit believing everything you read on the internet. There should be no need to port the wastegate.

- Don't bother with coil overs unless you plan on road racing and actually tuning the suspension. It will handle worse if you just throw coil overs on there and dont dial them in. So long as the stock strust are not giving you a hard time you should be fine with just getting some lowering springs. H&R's are nice but whatever floats yoru boat.

- Do not put a mid pipe on the car unless you have upgraded your fuel delivery and have someone who can properly tune it for you. Other wise you'll be buying a reman motor in no time.

Car looks nice, enjoy.

Uh, well.. it depends on what boost controller you're going after and your exhaust setup, but porting the wastegate is a good idea if you're like me, and have a full exhaust and a ProfecB Spec-II. When I'm running 12PSI, I get (albeit brief) spikes to 14-15 psi. Also a little creep in 5th gear at WOT.

Thanks Rowtareh.

This is definitely a good deal. Kind of sad how easily the prices have dropped, though. When I was on the market (last summer), all Reman'd FD's that were in great shape (like yours) were asking $15-16k.

I think black rims (like the ones you gave Joe, ha) would look great on it. Did I tell you we put those rims on my FD? The day of the auto-x we were swapping rims anyways so I put those on. Kinda had mixed opinions of dark rims on MBM....

I'd paint em black and run the tires low and then put serious rubber on 'em for the track, then get a nice set of 17/18's that are black with a silver polished lip for the street with Toyo's/Bridgestones/Kumho's on them...

Sorry I couldn't come down, I will soon enough though.

Congrats

You're letting your car spike/creep?! I couldn't imagine letting that happen at ALL let alone soon as I notice it does....I'd be fixing it pronto.

Did you port your wastegate yet, or are you saying it spike's despite that...?
