I have owned this car for over a year and a half and not once has it not started. I recently got a daily driver and the fd has been sitting down since. I start it up once a week and take it for a 2 mile drive.

Problem: I start the car up, let it warm up then take it for a spin, no spirited driving just normal. I give the car a wash then when I decide to move it, it wouldnt even turn over. I first thought maybe the battery I tapped the horn (Load as can be), then tunred the headlights on (bright as ever), put it on the charger( charger said it was fully charged). That leaves out the battery.

I eventualy keep trying to start it and finally it cranks right up. What can this be? An ignition problem?

Any help is much appreicated.

Funny but two of us here in town are experiencing the same thing. We have narrowed it down to clutch switch, ignition switch, and grounding. Mine, for some reaons if I jump right in and start it...it goes click, try again, click, and same **** for about 3 to 4 times then it starts...

If I turn the key to the on (not start) position and let it sit for several seconds it starts up...I am about fedup with it and going to bypass the ignition and install the push button start. With that you still need the key...insert the key, turn it to ON and then push the button. Vrooooom

Thanks for the replys. That push start sounds awesome. About this clutch switch is it hard to change?, and how much would it cost?

Thanks
