guess we'll empty it through the clutch and hope theres none in the brakes. the dot 5 does sit on top of the other stuff so hopefully its at the highest point in the system.

i know it says not to swap it back but ill just open the slave and let it flow and run a big bottle of dot 3 or 4 through there, then fill it up and bleed it again.

wow...some misinformation here...

keepin it simple... do not mix dot5 with any other...

rotors warping has nothing to do with the choice of fluid..

I didn't say that it warps your rotors, or if i did word it like that I didn't mean to.

"If you're getting the stock or B13 brakes to a temperature where you need a DOT 5 fluid, you're going to be seeing other failures in the braking system, like the rotors warping and cracking, pads burning up, and the pin boots melting (if you're lucky) or catching on fire."

basically, its sayign that if your getting brakes to a temp where need DOT5, your going to have a lot more problems then just needing DOT 5 heh

I wouldn't change fluid types without completely bleeding the current system dry.

Assuming it's a street car, the minimal advantage from using the dot 5 I would just stick with dot 3. Don't fix what aint broke.
