After the car has warmed up and been driven for a few minutes, it starts making a whine sound. It comes from the intake cone that leads to the primary turbo. After shutting it off, and coming back to the car a little later (like 15 minutes), it starts, and the idle is erratic. Gas mileage is a little worse. I've replaced the inlet duct and gasket. I ordered a new metal duct, but the damn thing doesn't fit. I tried some custom fabrication on it, but it still won't fit. I'm currently waiting on vaccum lines to come in. My power mods are apexi intake and an hks downpipe. Ideas?

 

does it do it with the pipe and filter assembly removed?
