so as you can tell by my name i am looking for a 3rd gen rx7... up in this area of washington that i live in i cant find an 3rd gen for a good price... i know being a rare car it goes from 5900+ and average 3rd party seller sells for 10-12k. i have been watching ebay listings for about a month now.. i bought a suburban off ebay once with no problems but being a turbo sports car i would assume the car has been beaten or at least driven hard... where would all of you buy and where would all of you not buy from...

please help..

I don't know if I could really help.. Since its car by car situation..

Common sense is all you need in this one..

There is no real way to say somewhere is better than other or other method such as ebay is better than say on an autotrader.

Also, its depend on how much money you want to spend... Obviously less you want to spend, crappier the car.. But thats how things are in general.

If you want that once in a life time deal, you need to take some risk and shop around.... But use your common sense and at the end, you'll get one in reasonable price. Good luck on your search!

PS. I've bought and sold over 7 FDs in the past. You just have to search! But beware! Good deals are gone in a blink of an eye. There are several FD owners including myself will jump on a good deal. Hence I have 3 FDs
