Ok. Serious question and i wont get mad because i want the truth. What would u pay for my car? Its a 93 Touring 5-speed with 120,000 miles. It has a M2 Performance cold air box and a Blitz Nur Spec exhaust. It needs an exhaust manifold gasket and it needs a 5th gear syncro. Other than that it runs great. Inside is ok. There is a hole in the leather and it needs a glove box. I want to part with it because i want a new truck and i would use the money as the down. I was going to fix everything it needed then sell it but if i can get a decent amount for it then i would do it as is. Im getting sick of driving my ranger and i want a taco. Your guys' oppinions will be appreciated thanx.

 

if thats 120k on the original engine id have to say me personally wouldn't pay more than 10k for it.

120k would be well past the optimal performance of a 13brew

 

Get the gasket repaced it will be hard to sell it knowing that it has to be replaced. I wouldn't pay more than $10K for it but the FD is a wanted car and I bet you can get someone to spend $13K to $14K on it that is new to the RX-7 world.

syncro is gone. the motor and turbos were replaced at 80k by the prior owner. i believe it has most of the recalls for that year fixed except for the new fan relay. funny u say $10k cuz i was going to ask for $10 obo in auto trader. thanx for your comments and suggestions. i just wish i could have taken better care of it but i had some tough times and now i have the money but i would rather have a better daily driven car.

sorry buddy, $10k. that would be one hell of a deal though. i have to fix a few things first cuz i wouldnt sell the car as is. it has an oil leak and it needs a new shifter

 

If that syncro is totally gone than you need to replace it or you will have a hard time to sell when some one knows that the tranny needs work. Deffinately do the oil leak. I had one of my oil lines to my turbos leak when I was trying to sell and I had to fix it because hot turbos and oil make lots of smoke.
