i say put it the "oh **** what just happened" fund. you will need that on reserve for a motor. you dont want to have to sell your car to me if it blows

get a dp, eibach pro kit, and m2 style trailing arms, and call it done. maybe add water injection or a stock mount IC.

I am liking this idea. Maybe subtract out some stuff to but a grand in a CD or something for 6 months. Or put all of it in a CD for 6 or 10 months and then you will have more money to play with later.

I would get some mods that would put your PFC to use. Full exhaust (DP, MP with HF cat, Cat Back), injectors, 255 Fuel pump, Boost controller, would also get some gauges and pods (Boost, Temp, WB o2, FP) etc.

I would then spend the rest of the money on reliability mods like new Rad, better AST etc.

That is if I were you.. if it was me I would just put the money aside and save some more to do an LSx swap. (Puts flame suit on)

I kinda agree with a full exhaust and gauges along with an intake system, unless you don't have your wastegate ported then everything but keep the stock main cat.

The stock suspension and brakes are very good for a street car unless they are worn out. Then get some bushings and change them, because that is probably all you need. If you are going to autoX/track then go suspension. The stock brakes are pretty good even on the track as long as you can keep from over heating them.

I will not burn you for an LSX swap.. I haver pondered it many times but im just saced in the long run a full rebuild of a rotaty with performance mods will roughly be the same as a lsx swap and performance around the same but the orginality of my car would be gone.. i have thought about it many times tho.. im just concerend how hard it be.. when the rotary is made for the car and no fabbing anything it just goes right on in it!

I think that seeing the LSx swap would be cool but I love the sound of a modded rotary. For me I would stick with the 13B and keep the cars original spirit.

yeah i guess it will just depend how much it will cost me in the end and how many miles roughly i can get out of a new modded 13b? if i can only squeeze 30K out of a new modded 13b it may not be worth it to me! but i def wont close the door on the option tho.

$3500, bone stock?..

I'd go with catback, downpipe, radiator, intercooler,k&n's,and AEM or PFC.
