The 225/45-17 is the same diameter as the stock wheel. I don't know why Tri-Point would say they are taller unless he was thinking of 245/45-17's.

does anyone know if rolling on a +27 front and +35 rear offset will look messed up? or if it will cause any problems?
|
I have your answer. I have an R1 with 17x8 front with +41 mm offset runing 235/45 and 17x9 rear with +44 mm offset runing 255/40 and Racing Beat springs with the stock Bilstein shocks.
Looks awesome and ZERO RUBBING ANYWHERE, NADA, ZIPPO, NONE. 2 of my friends, one with Ground Control and the other with Tein, both coil overs say my car feels more planted on the road. I can only tell you you will love the ride. For about $250 you can't go wrong. |
I recall reading one time that anything less thean +39 mm offset and 45 sidewall on 17 wheels would hit the fender lip, the inner well or the Stock coils.
