I'm starting to look arounf for some new seats to buy in the future. I thought about getting mine resurfaced, but it costs $550 from rx7.com for the materials. So what kind of seats do you have in your fds?

I have Katzin seats skins from autoleathers.com Leather w/ suede centers. They are pretty nice. They were about $680 a year or so back.

I'm going to be a jerk and say that I have the Stock Leather seats in my Fd. More to come I'm sure...

I think it would rock to convert everything on my car to a Spirit R, though, including those "stock" recaro's the one type or year came with. Saweeet!

I have Magnums. Not recommended. They're uncomfortable, they don't breathe at all, they fade horribly, and they kind of look like Autozone specials, all of which I could live with if they were cheap, but they're not. Oh, and you can't get replacement pieces for them without a 3 month wait.

So, yeah, don't be that guy.

I have the stock leather ones right now too. Have any of you ever had experience with the Recaro speed 4 point harness seat? here's a link http://www.recaro-nao.com/INDEX_FRAMES.HTML my dad says that recaro are about the best quality seat but I just want to check before spending that kind of money.

ive had a sparco torino, a and a recaro in my gsl-se, and the sparco sucked hardcore, it hurt my back and its like 40+lbs, the stock seat is closer to 30.

the recaro on the other hand is great, its non adjustable, but its comfy even for long trips, light and it holds you in place nicely!
