Thumbs up

I have now "busted up" another FD diff and am going with the TURBO 11 diff . mod , but have run into a snag where only one of the FD axle half shafts fits properly into the T11 LSD , the other is about 1 " too long and sticks out , it also doesn't lock into place (with the clips) , for those who have this mod (VOSKO , SILVER NINETY THREE) , what axles did you use , do the turbo 2 axles work ???.

the stock axles do work, you have some other problem. It is no seated fully in the diff. Vosko has race axles but they are drop in replacemet FD axles

Maybe I didnot explain fully , its the little "half shafts" (pieces with the splines on one end and the green cup on the other ) , one of them isn't going right in.

yes that is the inner CV joint. The fd ones slip into the T2 diff. Check to see if the lock ring is fucked up, sometimes you need to use a large hammer on the outer cv joint to get the axle to lock into the diff. just be careful not to damage the threads on the outer joint if you use the hammer

OK, Will check it when I get home . Can anyone tell the difference in appearance between the T11 diffs ? , these being the clutch type and the viscous types, mine came out of a series 4 T 11 , but I just want to be sure before I install it.

When I look into the LSD. , where the axles go , I see something like a metal washer in there , that's what's preventing the axle from going fully in as it is located closer to one side , does this "thing " have to be removed , the FD LSD doesn't have this in there , also are the T11 axles different length ?.

Judge Ito installed mine. Went right in. I re-used my stock fd axles.

Ok , well I guess I now have two options , firstly I will try to contact ITO and see if he can help , then I'll pull the LSD apart and see whats going on the inside .
