I have the rx8 shift knob, and love it. But seeings how you already have an rx8, I think you might find that redundant. Get the leather stiched one from rx7dotcom, its a leather wrapped Mazdaspeed unit. The 8 shifter i have is ******* HEAVY (for a shifter.) The stock one wasnt that heavy compared to it. It does reinforce your shift throw, however.

How much was the Rx-8 knob and do you have a link? Thanks

[quote name='Sinful7' date='Apr 7 2005, 09:28 AM']Yeah, I had a MOMO knob with setscrews for a few months and it never came out. I noticed that the allenhead setscrews are pointed and they actually bore into the shifter for a nice tight grip.

You had a pretty kick-ass one awhile ago. Hell didnt you even have those real nice "pics" of it? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

had a momo in my car for a while.... never stayed tight... over torqued it one time in a fit of rage and stripped the allen screw threads...

I REALLY like the way the titanium sphere knob looks... but that fucker gets to hot to the touch for me to be happy with on the track... Looking for a black acrylic ball now.
