So i was home this past wkend, finally got to see my new SSM and take it for a spin. Its running like a champ but has a weird idle. It will idle fine sometimes, then sporactically, the idle will drop and it will die. Starts back up just fine but I couldnt figure out what the hell the problem was. Heater, AC etc, none of that was running. Maybe a fuel pump issue or fouled MAP sensor?

 

That kind of sounds like what happens when the clutch switch is bad when you've got a PowerFC. Not sure if it causes the same problem with the stock ECU or not.



I assume you've searched for vacuum leaks?
