We have a large tractor scale at work here in the engineering tech side which I have full access too :-) anyways it weighs in 10 pound increments and i had about 30 mins to blow off this morning so I pull my car on it, with me in it my car weighed in at 2940 pounds, and I myself weigh roughly 185 pounds, and I had about 40 pounds worth of wiring and breakout boxes in my hatch. So I think my car weighs around 2700 pounds stock what you guys think??

yeah i should get lighter yet this winter, im ditrcting the airpump and the AC, and also going stainless 3" exhaust so no more cat at all, and of course my fiberglass replacement fenders and hood aught to help out with my car weight! id love to get my car down to 2500 pounds without me in it!! but I know that may be pushing it but it still be nice!! :-)

FG hood and fender wouldn't help much. Most FG stuff is about the same weight as stock... especially the hood. Fender.. you might save some but probably not much (maybe a pound each side).

Also weigh the car with 4 point balance (weighing the car from each wheel). You want to make sure your weight is distributed correctly. Just taking weight off of the front doesn't always meet you will still maintain that 50/50... and also US vs FD is bit off as when Mazda initially designed it, they had driver in passenger side(US side).

Every single piece is out of my interior, including the headliner. Moved out lots of weight there.

yeah but I want to keep the stock interior in place. and Im not tryin to make a super light car for racing I just figured 100 pounds lighter, will make it a lil easier for me to hit my goal of 11's on the stock twins... do you guys think 14psi on the stock twins and all the boltons with traction would net me a 11 second et? i know its hard to say for sure but hey i figured id ask depending if im a good driver or not and traction...??

I think you could hit 11s with all the crap removed and boost at 14.
