Hey everyone,I will be getting a FD within 6 months or May this coming year.I have a question I want to ask you people.I was thinking of buying a high mileage FD and replacing or rebuilding the engine. If I were to replace the engine instead of rebuilding should I go with the 13B REW or the 13B RE Cosmo?Would it be better to go about getting a FD with high mileage or an FD with like 60,000 to 65,000 mileage?Let me know, thanks!Later!

If you have another car to drive, and don't mind replacing stuff, the high mileage car will be cheaper.....

But I've heard from just about everybody that low mileage 7's are usually very well cared for (hence the low miles on a 10 year old car) and don't have parts of the car failing every couple thousand miles.

I didn't worry about the miles on the car. My search was narrowed GREATLY when I decided on the interior/exterior color! From then on I found 2 within a year and bought the second one. So far so good...

Sorry man, too late. I've already added you to The List. No one will sell you an FD because you'll just wreck it within a few weeks.......

Just make sure you get a well cared for FD. Even low mileage FDs can go bad from sitting around too much. I bought mine with 130K and it was already on it's second engine. But it's perfect and doesn't even drip a drop of anything and has great power.

Check for service records. Another important thing is to know the history. How many owners has it had? Does the guy you're buying it from seem like a person who takes care of cars?
