its normal, especiall when its cold and it has sat for a while, water builds up in the gas tank and lines, ya know condensation.

Yep! Water and Coolant burning. Not good. Antifreeze has a sweet smell when it burns. That's what the other guys are warning you about.





How'd you like all that SNOW over the weekend????

if its blue at the beggining and oil drops after a week er so, then it's the "oil control rings" blue is always a bad thing as well... it can be kinda fun to see your car "on fire" when it smokes as much as mine did after startup

this weekend blew *****...freezin my *** off...beater still wont start..but i did have a little fun..took the car to akron and had my way with a firebird.hehe :twisted:

hey dumbrotorkid....i do not think, however, not seeing your condition personally, that it is anything debtrimental to the car. remember, there are small doses of oil in the injection cycle and more if you premixed at one time or another, and this is simply oil burning off. if it billows and is plainly white, then there is a coolant leaking issue somewhere, but until that happens, just warm up the car an drive it a mile or so, and the smoking should subside. my car smokes on every first [cold] start and until it is warmed up, will put a puff out under acceleration when first driven...
