I've got a Veilside short Shifter in my car. Changed the clutch the other day and a little piece of white plastic bushing -sorta- thingy fell out.. broken..now I've got some play in the shifter and I seem to be missing 3rd a lot.. anyone know where I can get one of these ?? or what I'm talking about.



...think I'm just gonna' make one out of teflon or something.. might be wayyy easier than getting a replacement.

note- white plastic bushing -sorta- thingy fell out.. broken..from the shifter..not the clutch and it's not the round one either that sits on the bottom of the stick itself like the ball joint ..it's on the side.

 

I don't see why you got a veilside short shifter anyways.. Hell, I didn't even know they made them.. You could just get a C's short shifter or a B&M short shifter and hopefully be done with it..

 

I've got a B&M shift kit in my 7 and have had no problem in things braking or missing gears.

 

Yea, my C's ss is great.

 

You know.. I kinda' figured folks would ask that..but you see I imported my car from Japan.. yes JDM R1 and it came with the Veilside Short Shifter.. heck, I didn't know Veilside made short shifters either... came with a couple of other goodies too..
