it is not something that you would want to undertake if you only had one afternoon to get to. you should alot yourself at least a full day, and then, remember that there is that time for frustration. there are a lot of short-seem-like-they-are-going-nowhere-hoses and it WILL **** you off at one point or another....

BUT, it was not that bad the first or second time that i did a hose job. once you get in there, you should see what i am talking about.

i actually think that getting the zip-ties on some of the hose ends was the toughest thing to do...

I found the easiest solution to all the silicone hoses in the FD was to go non-sequential. Saved money on hoses and lots of frustration.

The job isn't that PHYSICALLY hard but it takes TONS of patience.

Your have to be very careful and methodical. You can't rush this job. Take your time. Carefully mark everything and triple check your work.

This job will be a nightmare is you are in a rush. Make sure you have a back up car to drive.

I just did it on my car. I didn't find it super unpleasant but whenever my patience ran out I knew I had to stop for a while. It probably took me a good 20 hours of work which I spread out over a week.

you should...

you will go from roughly 75 twisting, unjulating, and contorted vacuum hoses to about 5 hoses totalling 4 ft. in length...

it is easy, and MUCH easier than a hose job for the sequential system..

I just finished doing hoses and non-sequential on my car you can ask Lou (rxplicit) I would have to say this is so far the best mod I have done. Not because it necessarily gives you more power but because it REALLY cleans up under the hood. Before when I had a problem I had to take off the Uim now I can just use a flashlight and look right underneath it. Honestly it is that much better. A couple things I learned while doing it. If you use block off plates remember to use black rtv to seal up the plates. 2. look for other apparent problems. The most common is the fuel pulsation dampner and tops of fuel injectors. 3. I didnt really learn this but I would suggest it. Remove all of your emmisions airpump, acv, cat etc. This will also make it easier to work on the car because you'll be able to move freely undet there.

the one on steve cirian's site, the latter of the 2 is the FULL non sequential job, which involves the removal of the actual TCA door in the turbo manifold...

the one on ryan's site IS reversable, if you do not like it, and gives you the jist of what is to come...

i would suggest the dontbearikki.com jjob first, and then if you have the turbos rebuilt later, have the TCA door cut out and the rest of the NS stuff done....you do not have to do the emmissions removal with ryan's way, but i do suggest it, and remove all of the solenoids and place resistors in their place...

I like the low end boost I get with my sequential turbo

But hell... I may go single someday...

Don't you have to totally remove the turbo and weld some stuff up in order to go non-sequential?
