I have a few gallons of paraffin that I use to clean some of the car parts - it's good for thinning out whatever grease/oil I have on my hands and is easy to get off.

Never loan tools to anyone. The minute they leave with any given tool, you'll need it.

Don't buy any turbo wrap made by DEI, commonly sold through Eastwood. I tried it once on my turbo and I caught it on fire the first day.

[quote name='teknics' date='May 6 2005, 06:07 PM']make sure to follow it with vry good washing of your hands and plenty of lotion.

i work with a guy who's cleaned his hands with parts cleaner for 27+ years...when he bends a finger his skin cracks.

when some skin is itching him on his hands...HE WIRE WHEELS IT OFF.

that is what parts cleaner does to your skin.

Ewww, scratch the idea of parts cleaner. Won't be doing that anymore. Also never loan your tools to someone, they come back dirty.
