Did you know that vegetable oil works almost better than Gojo hand cleaner in removing grease from your hands?

Of coarse then you still need some soap to get the vegtable oil off. Just something you might not have known.

Anyone else got some useful info?

Along similar lines, I have used a simple solution of Dawn in a tray of water as a hand soak to really get down into the crevices. Let 'em soak for about 15 minutes in the solution and rinse. Note that if you do this you *might* want to chase with lotion; the soap solution can make your skin dry and split.

Another tip : Dish soap works just as well as water wetter (in pistons motors anyway)

I keep a tube of clear silicone adhesive caulk in my garage. Great for fixing interior plastic squeaks and rattles. It's also good for replacing the broken/cracked/seperated factory anti-rattle caulk between the underhood reinforcement and the bottom of the hood, and between the door reinforcement and back-side of the door sheetmetal.

Don't buy Exhaust / Turbo studs and bolts from anywhere but Mazda because they all suck

Use parts cleaner to wash your hands. I used it when working construction. Although my hands were covered with more than oil and grease. Tranny oil, dirt, gasoline, diesel fuel, grease(sex grease). Works very well, just make sure you don't have any cuts or scrapes on your hands, or you will be screaming. Follow it up with regular soap and water or lotion.

make sure to follow it with vry good washing of your hands and plenty of lotion.

i work with a guy who's cleaned his hands with parts cleaner for 27+ years...when he bends a finger his skin cracks.

when some skin is itching him on his hands...HE WIRE WHEELS IT OFF.

that is what parts cleaner does to your skin.

Gear oil: get it in your hair, don't go on a date within the next week or so.

this post was not fun to read. Im mad at you yonner, i demand more typos.

Im not really sure what shugger is but the orange hand cream stuff gets basically everything off. if not just wear gloves for the really dirty stuff, who cares if its girly.
