I only here good things about ACT on rx7's. Maybe its the low torque. With a stock flywheel, go 6 puck.
Thanks!

i'm using a Clutchmasters Stage 4 organic/metallic kit with a RB 12lbs flywheel.. clutch and everything works fine.. smooth engagement.. not too harsh. but you have to make sure to adjust your clutch pedal after installing to reset the fulcrum point, or you end up with shitty clutch feel and bad engagement.

I was thinking of going Centerforce, I have heard "mixed" reviews on the ACT clutches.
I've heard the opposite.

If you check it out, Summit has dropped Centerforce from thier catalog. On the RX-7 I've heard nothing but bad, and my buddy with a 95 TA has also been advised away from them.

i am using a stock flywheel this whole time. its better for drag racing
If you could ever get in the 11's you'd find your stock flywheel is illegal. Gotta meet SFI spec 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, or 1.4

NHRA Sport Compact Rules

pepe loco 8 second drag car uses a stock flywheel. i'm sorta thinking SFI only applies to non factory parts

Stock type cast iron flywheel or pressure plate is specifically prohibited in cars running 11.99 or faster.

This likely applies at any event or track that uses NHRA rules.

If you've ever seen a stock flywheel come apart on a drag engine you'd be buying an aftermarket flywheel in about 2 seconds.

I've seen a 4G63 that had the transmission completely sheared off the engine, destroyed the T78 strapped to it too.

Hard rule to enforce until someone gets their leg cut off.

Almost all of them, I think. They just don't like the cast construction of stock type flywheels. Ours are probably a little tougher than most because our cars rev so high, but rules is rules!

Try an ACT flywheel. You buy so much $#!+ from them they should give you a good deal. They have 2 different weights available. ACT Flywheel
