its bee a while since ive looked at an FD engine bay...



what does MSD say about sticking them in the cabin as far as interference/loss of power?

Yep, that's the solution right there. Easy solution if your worried about signal degredation is to simply run lower gauge wire to the 7A's and solder everything.
