Now that I have found out my turbos need replacing for sure I am going to replace them myself. What should I look for and what tips do you have to make the switch more forgiving.

use some jb80 or wd40 and soak everything and use a breaker bar to crack loose the turbo studs and DP. and take your time.

Whats the jb80? Is that the same as the faboulous P Blaster?

My advice is buy new studs and nuts to mount the turbo and downpipe. Shouldn't cost much more than $20 from a dealership.

Sounds good I think I will order those new studs. What do you mean mount the DP and turbos. Do you mean add the DP to the turbos before I intall them?

$20 bucks? I spent right at $300 from Malloy getting all the studs, nuts, and gaskets. I think about $200 of the order was directly related to the turbos.

I think I just need to get the studs, nuts and botls. I shouldn't need any turbo parts.

i went with the 99 efini's with ported wastegates and they will pretty much kill any single on the street. if your drag racing, i'd go with a big single...
