Turbos
#1
hey lads having probs with sequntial turbos so i am thinking about running turbos at the same time while i save for my single turbo conversion but have been told doing this puts alot of stress on the turbos? {as the turbos have done 130000 ks} just like to hear from anyone who has done this before or knows someone who has Cheers

There are links to the non-sequential how to in the FAQ area above.
As far as the pros or cons. You might find something on Lightning in a world of thunder. Someone else might be nice and link you.
I did the conversion at one point. I don't know the technobabble but I never had any problems and I doubt I was adding any extra stress to the turbos. They run the same regardless if you spool one up first or not.
Sounds like a case of someone who has never done the conversion runnig their mouth off about it without any first hand experience.

do the sequential setup. it gets rid of some vacuum lines and as Long as you like the feel of a single turbo I bet you will love it till you get to use a single setup.
That would be NON-sequential that gets rid of hoses, along with simplified sequential. But simplified sequential pretty much just removes all the emissions.
I would stay with with sequential if possible but thats just me. Trouble shooting the system is really not that hard it just takes time.
