yeah it was the oil seals. it used a quart of oil (ATLEAST) every 200 miles and burned coolant and when redlined it and shifted i could literally leave an impassable wall of smoke

Hmm... Mine didn't ever use oil (At any measureable amount).



All of a sudden, started it and it just wouldn't stop smoking... Oil leaking everywhere. Just seems strange you know? Didn't do **** but start the damn thing... Nothing leading up to it. Idled fine, pulled hard, just smoked like a **********er... Still ran good when I pulled it back in the garage... Just got me worried when I saw the oil leaking... So I decided to just pull her apart..

yeah i know when i got mine i didn't know it was broken..... i was like nah it can't be the engine i JUST got it... nah.... haha

Oh well.. I need an excuse to get in there and do some porting anyway. Prolly not a bad idea to hone out the oil passages and coolant passages too... Is there templates for that? Or should I let someone else do it?
