Tuning Time
#1
Hello, now that most of my fuel dilema's have been solved I have made an appointment for mid-Feb to get my car tuned at Motorsport Dynamics in Sacramento, Ca. My main ? is about how long should it take for a proper dyno tuning? Is $125 an hour a decent rate? Im using the PFC, and have upgraded just about the entire fuel system. My biggest concern is my pocketbook. I dont want to expect only three hours and have it take 8, more then doubling the cost. thanks a bunch for any info!

I'm waiting to get mine tuned, i'm looking about about 100/hr dyno time and 50/hr labor to tune, the guy who runs the dyno says he can do it in about 1.5-2hrs, including hooking up the wideband o2...he told me to figure in on about 2.5 hrs to tune my pfc and to set my boost controller exactly where I want it, which is about 14psi...hope that helps
