Here are mods first.

BNR S3's

intakes

DP,MP,CB

Apexi PFC

Custom IC

Greddy ProfecB spec1 or whatever with just the three *****.

No emission of course w/simplifed seq.

Now the problem. Car runs fine, boosts fine for the most part, except for at transition. When it transitions instead of doing the say 10-8-10 its more like 10-8-10-6-10-6-10-6-10. etc. until about 6000rpm then it holds normal 10psi. It only fluctuates during transition, and happens probably 80% of the time, why it doesn't happen all the time I have no idea.

I've checked all the hoses at least 3 times and the more I look at them the more I figure out I have them hooked up right. I've done the KOKO test and everything is fine except I cannot see the TCA move, I am also doing this myself so I have to crawl under and back out everytime I turn the KO, but the CCA works fines. Turning the Sharpness up and down on the BC doesn't help either, just cause a spike and all the other normal stuff associated with doing that. VAC/PRESS tanks appear fine, still has Vac/press after 1-2hrs of just setting there.

Here is another kicker, my old stock turbos worked great as far as transition, this only started after I put the BNR's on, and honestly didn't start imediately, I had them for a few weeks before this started. I also hate to go through all the trouble of taking them all the way back off, but it may come down to it. So if anyone has any other suggestions, I'd appreciate it greatly.

Chris,

Come by my house this saturday and we could all work on our cars. I'll be dropping in my engine this saturday and we could also check out your car.

I been helping someone else thru email about their seq. system and It could be many things.. We could try different BOV and CRVs if you like.. I have 10 or so now

Sounds good I'll have to put it back together, I took it apart to look again, and the more I look the more it looks right. I also did the KOKO thing and the TCA doesn't move, but does move with air hooked up to it. May be a solenoid problem. If I had to guess after looking at it yesterday, I would say either its the wastegate actuator, or the solenoid for the TCA. I adjusted the actuator some seemed to be to tight, but who knows its easy to adjust so I can always put it back.

Ok here is the first.

I changed both solenoids that controll the TCA and found out they aren't the problem, I'll try more later in the week hopefully. Also BC on/off/high boost/low boost, it all acts the same.

Update number 2:

I orginally had my BC hooked up to the WG & PC actuators, I was told this controls boost better, and worked perfectly for a while, or at least until I got my stage 3's. Last night I put the PC back to the stock solenoids, and walla(almost) it works alot better as far as no fluctuation. I still got alittle in 3rd gear, with the BC set to 10psi, but it was no where near as bad even when it did happen (1/3-4)times. This way when it did happen it only fluctuated about 2-3 times from 10-6psi. It never happened in 2nd gear and didn't happen when the BC was set at 13psi(stock fuel can't go much higher). I haven't had a chance to test out 4th gear yet, but so far I'm happy'er.

That should atleast now narrow it down to the BC or the WG actuator. I'll let everyone know when I get it totally fixed.
