Just to clarify that: it is a UK site, and the numbers you've got there relate to the UK spec'ed car. It was only available at 237bhp. The displacement isn't explained well. What he is trying to say is, 2x654cc is the Mazda quoted displacement, BUT, for some reason only known to Mazda and the UK licensing authorities, the RX7 is listed as double this, at 2616cc. Stupid, and over the years owners have argued that this is not the case, but it has never been changed in the UK. I believe the RX8 is also still listed as 2616 in the UK! Why? Who knows!

is there such thing as a efiny fd, cause there is a japanese motors where I live and they say they are selling an efiny edition 1994 fd, 5 speed for 7,000 cash. salvage title though. It comes from japan. I want to kno how much power it has.

All Japanese FD's sport the Efini badge, with the exception of the Type RZ or the Bathurst. So yes there is an Efini edition, the base model. The attachment has the Japanese specs for all of the RX-7's ever released here.

Cheers for clearing up the confusion with the UK displacement.

A mate of mine just came back from the UK with a REVS and Maxpower magazine and all through them the engine was reported as being 1300 through to 2.8L!!

I just thought it was crazy english people

Nooooooooooooooooo! DON'T waste your money on that s**t, its just meant for kids that drive 3 pot corsas and wear Burberry caps (chavs), stick to "Japanese Performance" and "Banzai".

they had one write up on an FD and the guy was blagging them something mad about hp figures and his fmic and the pic of the engine showed it as pretty much standard, so the guy the magazine sent knew bugger all.
