ok i have a distrbutor on my FC and where the tach would hook up on the coil pack i pluged it in and it does not work so i woundering if anyone knows which wire it is so i can just connect them so i can get to work or send me a wire digram thanks for ur help.

 

negative side of the leading coils is where i hook all my tachs to.

 

so is it an FC or an FD?? I think you posted in the wrong forum. The FD's can come right off of the leading coil.... not sure about the FC, but i'd think that it should come off of the signal wire to the dizzy.
