Hydroplaning is from the tire tread not being able to channel out the water at your rate of speed. Were you going too fast for the road conditions? Maybe you guys should buy some aquatread tires and slow down in the rain. The freeway is scary enough with stupid SUV owners speeding. Don't they know when they switch from a Honda to a Escalade that it takes at least twice as long to stop? Are all you guys under 21? Sorry bout the loss.

i know how to drive rwd cars ( every car ive ever owned has it ) the only problem i MAY have is the fd is some 500lbs lighter than the stang and m3. as long as i dont drive in snow ill be fine. the snow is for the ghetto stang. i dont want to end up with a salvage title because some dumb-*** drunk driver for daily driving the fd. im an educated idiot.

It wasn't your fault so don't worry about the insurance.
Excuse me? How can you say that? Whose fault is this accident exactly? He hydroplaned and spun his car in the rain. It is his fault for one of two reasons - he was driving too fast or he had inadequate tires.
