I am so freaking pissed off. My car has been sitting in my garage recieving a Vacuum hose job. Well in the process I discovered my alternator belt needed to be replaced. So I went to Pep Boys. Beleive it or not they had one in stock.....

Well I just finished the entire car. Turn the car on and it is whining like a little bitch. Then I noticed the belt wasn't on the grooves. My fault.....Well the damn belt does fit on the focking grooves. They gave me the wrong freaking size. I knew i shouldnt have bougt it whent he damn computer asked me if my car had airconditioning and was turbo charged.

Anyways....Anyone know the measurements of the alt. belt.....Thanks

**** man...that sucks. There is nothing worse then when your worken the grind and you find out the part is wrong. Thats why I dont trust any of the normal auto shops. they always screw up.

I'm sure someone has the specs with the size..........

wrong parts and unexpected disassembly are some of the worse gumption traps.

i know that the underdrive pettit pulley calls for a 29 inch belt and it is still a little too long. after a few months, it will be stretched out.....

you will most likely need a 5 RIB 31.5 inch belt.....if that helps....
