o yea, and i broke off the right nipple on the little elbow that is on the primary turbo....was that going to nethig important?

twinturborx7pete 06-23-2003 12:43 PM

you HAVE to pull the turbos off the car to do non-seq.

and you can plug that one nipple, and use the other for your oil injectors.

boostdfd3s 06-23-2003 01:08 PM

well, ****...arent pulling off the turbos a BITCH to do? Anybody got another suggestion or is there raelly no way around this one?

boostdfd3s 06-23-2003 01:19 PM

anyone?

hulk 06-23-2003 03:22 PM

you dont need the pull the turbos to go non seq...

do a search for "dont be a rikki" on this forum or www.rx7club.com

all you do, is remove the TCA, plug the two lines. You can see what you need to wire because the part your wiring is connected to an actuator (The TCA).

Get some coat hanger and wire that fucker up. You also have to do some work w/ the hoses but overall its an easy operation.

I can help you out if you want with the poormans job. It will let you see what non seq is like but nothing permanant incase you want to go back to sequential. If you like non seq, you can do what im doing and do the full monty. Block off plates, cut out that door that you will have to wire up initially, weld ****.

Peace

oh... and if you ever find the tca, which is on the bottom of the car... if your laying underneath the car, top of your head facing the rear of the car, the tca will be on the right side, to the right of the oil pan.. might have to look around a bit, also might be hidden by a heat sheild... I would be wise to unhook the rod that is connected to the door so you can wire it open =)

boostdfd3s 06-24-2003 03:50 PM

yea, had to take off two heatshields but from there it was a piece of cake to take off and wire open! thanks to all who helped out
