Turbo Timers can also be wired to the parking brake, so the car kills when the pb is release w/o the key. Glad to hear you have the car back and it was driveable!

[quote name='BoOoST' date='Apr 28 2003, 04:00 PM'] Aww man...good luck when you see her. I remember when my first FD got stolen, I was getting ready to leave for work so I went downstairs to warm-up my car, turned it on, took out my key and set my turbo timer to 5 minutes, I went back in the house to grab my jacket real fast, come back out, and see the mother ****** driving off with my car.

I felt paralyzed because I didn't know what to do as I watched my car leave me. But like 2 seconds later, I hear a loud CRASH!! And guess what! It was my car!! I guess what had happened was that the steering wheel had locked because the turbo timer turned the car off. He probably thought I left the car on with the keys in it. And so I go over there, and guess what...it was one of my classmates from college.

I shoulda beat the **** out of him, but I didn't. He got arrested, and my car was totaled. But at least I got some money out of it, but it's not even close to how much I spent on the car. I'm still recovering. I feel your pain...
dont turbo timers turn off when a gear is shifted into and the key isn't in place? i swore they all had security lock-down features.

My greddy shuts down when you let the e-brake down.

He's on his way over to the shop right now, I'm sure you'll hear more news in a couple hours.
