i used to live in newark.

on the highway i was messing with a corvette in my friend's car, well started running low on gas so i let off and about 30 mins down the road saw the kids stop the car and get out of it in the middle of the highway...no doubt they took it for a joyride as i saw them sprinting down the opposite lanes shoulder going back towards newark.

we used ot live on a dumpoff street, meaning the people who stole cars would dump them off near the marketplace i lived by, then they'd get out of there and about an hour later another guy would come by get in and drive it to their shop. Once when they brought a sickass firebird we took turns flying around the streets in it. In the end we eventually just called the cops who setup like a sting on the group and arrested a whole big group of guys.

moral of the story: if your car is stolen around north jersey, start looking in newark.

Where exactly was it stolen from? They have cameras in the garages here at our malls so *maybe* its possible for them to catch a liscense plate number or maybe see exactly what happened. I know if it was my car id want to get whatever info I could on it even if it meant me watching someone steal my car. Just and idea. Hope everything works out.
