This doesn't particularly pertain to an fd, but not many fc owners have too much power. I was just wondering if anyone here has upwards of 300ft #s of torque and runs a stock clutch disk with a heavy duty pressure plate? And ofcourse how well it worked, I really don't want to want an iron cross...

What you will use it for is the biggest question. Big difference between cruising on street tires, road racing on R-compounds and drag racing on slicks.

I would not recomend a heavy pressure plate with a stock clutch for any car. If you do regular driveing might be ok.. but then why would you need an aftermarket pressure plate. I had that set up on my 180SX and ripped the clutch disk right off the center spindle. Of course I drifted so I was poping the clutch a lot at high RPM's..
