Well my driver's seat is starting to crack really bad, and i want to replace it here in the near future as well as the passenger seat. The leather is just getting dry and worn out and the 1st owner i guess never took care of the leather. But besides that, do any of you have Sparco Seats in your FDs or any other type of seat? I've seen a couple with some Sparcos in it that were black and grey, looked like torinos, not sure though. I'd like to keep it plain and not get ricer red.

I have some Sparco EVO seats sitting in my garage waiting to go in...what I decided to do was a bit different. But I am making an aluminum mounting bracket that will bolt into the factory holes using the factory bolts. Then I will be welding this bracket to the factory Spraco bracket so I will have a custom seat bracket made for the seats to use the factory bolt holes.

The only drawback to this is the lack of sliders....I am still trying to figure that one out. Once I get the brackets to fit perfectly I will have a one piece bracket made to fit Spraco seats and the FD so people don't have to go through all the headache to fit Sparco/Momo seats into our cars. If I can figure out a way to make the sliders work then it should work perfectly.

Since my car is being built more for function rather than form, I don't care about the sliders, I will be building mine to fit where I need it to fit, no sliders for now, the passenger seat would be nice to have sliders though. We'll see, I am hoping to be done this week with the bracket design and install my seats.
