How in the heck do you get the solenoid rack out???? I've got the coil rack out and the bolts underneath it. I've also got the 3 screws out in the middle of the solenoid rack. It seems that something is still attached under the solenoid rack. Also one of the solenoids broke when I was removing the vacuum hoses. It was the green one, closest to the front of the car. Which one is that and where besides the dealership can I get one? Also how do you disconnect / reconnect the wires to the solenoids? Thanks for all remarks in advance. My car is in 3000 pieces with a lot of new vacuum hose that needs to be put on...

You are loose you just need to play with it some to get it out.

You broke the double throttle control solinoid. You dont need the double throttle. You may or may not know that removing the double throttle is a popular mod. Here is a link for that info. Basically you can just remove the double throttle butterflies out of the Manifold and plug the hole with a bolt and just cap off the associated hoses. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/index.php?...=ST&f=13&t=6912 I can sell you the solinoid if you really are that concerned with it though. Email me if you want it.

To discontect them they have a tab on the top that you push down.

Well that would depend on what all you have apart, and what all you want to take off.

There are a ton of little mods.

Make sure that you peek around the "performance mods" forum.

Non-sequential, I'm really thinking about it. I just want to do it right if I do. I have found a web site for the poor man's version but I really haven't found a really good step by step procedure yet. I am not that familar with my car yet since I just bought it on May1st. I feel confident I can do the work, I just want to be 100% sure what part I'm tossing. I'd eventually like to go single but I don't want to blow a lot of cash just yet since I put so much down on the car.

Also since I got the solenoid rack off, I've ran into another problem. There is like a vacuum actuator under the rack. I can see the vacuum hoses but if I get them off, I'm not sure I can get my hand down there to get the new hoses on. Is there a way to get it off the block easily? I didn't see anyway but by that time I was saying one too many choice words about all these spaghetti noddles I have been replacing. 4 to 6 hours my ***, I'm on day two...

Thanks Fd3BOOST I at least got the rack off!!!

Oh one more question, If I just cap off the double throttle lines, and decide to leave in the double throttle butterflies will they come open after I start the car?

You have to remove them or they will stay closed.

so either put it all back together or take out the butterflies.
