weekend warrior unless something isn't working properly. So mainly it keeps everything else in my garage company. Seems to get along with the lawnmower pretty good.

Great, thanks a lot for your imput. I was debating whether or not to get a secondary car.. just incase the FD dies on me.. I really dont need the added cost of insurance / maintenence on a 2nd car though.

I guess.. as a daily.. it'd be somewhat reliable? :P
There are some things you can do to make it more reliable. Bigger radiator, remove cats, single turbo, FMIC. That helps with a lot of the heat issues that destroy the apex seals and contribute to frequent rebuilds. Or at least I hope.. becuase that's what I'm going to do.

Edit: Oh yeah, upgraded oil coolers too. Should help the turbo(s) and the engine.

i had been driving it this whole month till i got in an accident. normally i only drive it on special occasion but the special occasion was my blazer exhaust falling off and me not wanting to spend $600 to get a new exhaust for it

******* Vosko, you kill me bro. This guy wont think twice about dropping a couple grand on new "braces" for some part of his drive train, but won't shed a few hundred to fix the daily beater. You rock dude seriously

i think an fd is alright as an everyday driver.......... as long as you can control yourself. although it takes a lot of self control not to launch at ever stop light and stop signs, or take a turn at .90g. or just hearing your turbo spool and spit.

luckily theres nothing wrong with my fd since i got it from the shop last month, and for about a year before the accident
