I think my car might have a short shifter in it allready. How can i tell without taking it apart. I know i didn't put it in. I had a friend drive me car and he thought that it did have one but when you go from driving a hundai to and RX-7 he would notice a difference.

 

just take the shift **** and the center garnish off. you should be able to tell if it's an aftermarket shifter or not

 

I have had people ask if I had put in a short shifter in my vert. even though it is stock..
