hey guys, im about to go in to haeve my vaccum leak fixed on one of my lines for my secondary turbo, and im wondering if i should go twin turbo or not? im mainly a canyon racer, and im thinking that twin will be more predictable on the moutain, but i would like to know the negitives. more heat created? less reliablilty? tell me all the bad things about making the stock seqentials twin turbos. thanks much

russell

FikseRxSeven 10-24-2003 12:55 AM

Look through the pinned topic and it will explain everything involved. Also a few pros and cons on it too. Also take a look here:

I'm planning the switch shortly myself.

Yep...like 400 rpms "later". Non-sequential lag isn't that bad. FWIW, If your worried about 400 rpms...you should have bought a V8 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

I know this is begining to get off topic, but what about twin turbos. Would there be any benifit to having each turbo on an individual rotor. I know you would have to do some crazy throttle body work but would there be any sort of gain.

No custom throttle body work needed. IGY had a true twin turbo setup on his car with the stock throttle body. Made good power too https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif
