hey guys. i drove home from my friends house (going about 100...no big thing right? around 5krpms) and i parked it for the night. in the morning i go to warm her up and the clutch makes a CLICK CLICK CLICK noise when i barely press on it or even disengage it all the way. the clutch is still grabbing though. then after its warmed up i drive it for awhile and when trying to merge into traffic i rev to 5k. but wait....no pull....i felt the first turbo, but wheres the second one? its not kicking in either. its odd that both these things happened at once, and it was in my garage so there was no foul play. the turbos, and the clutch were just dandy when i parked it last night. help PLS. thanks much

russell

ummm what are you talkin about?

you have a separate boost guage for each of your turbos?

are you running sequential or parallel?

do you own an rx7?

ok if you have an rx7....... 6lbs of boost means you have a huge leak somewhere or you have dying turbos

i have a m2 tuned ECU that sets the boost at 12psi (i think) for the pair. so i get 6 pounds each. at least thats what i think it is. i just got my FD a few weeks ago, and am unsure what the stock boost level is.

ok..... if you say that you're running 12 lbs and each turbo is running 6lbs each, then there is pretty much no way to diagnose that your secondary turbos is loosing boost..... or the primary turbos for that matter. do you have a boost guage? its the best way to find out

Martin, if you get 6psi on each sequence of the turbo then he has a boost leak. But if your boost guage reads 6 then after transition at 4.5rpm your still reading 6 then your getting 6psi on primary and 6psi on secondary..

First problem is that you have a boost leak you need to fix
