im canceling out all the un-neccacery things on my maniolds. but when i removed the throttle body i seen the second flappers. my block off plate kit came with a plate for it. but can i remove the secondary flappers? they only sit behind the throttle body flappers by like an inch. what are they for?

 

They prevent you from jumping in your car on a cold day and racing off into the sunset without warming up the car.
