I've heard that the Scoot hood will not work with the M2 intercooler (med. and large) and the M2 intake box. I know there has to be modifications done to either the M2 products or the scoot hood itself. I was just wonderin.. if you were going to change the M2 intercooler and intake box to fit with the hood.. how would you go about doing so? Cut some of the intercooler and intake box off? ..so the hood would fit.. And what about if you use the rain covers (included with the scoot hood) and R1 strut bar? How are you going to tamper with them so the hood will fit? Sorry if this was a dumbass post.. I just wasn't sure how everything was fixed, just so the scoot hood could fit with the smic and intake box. thanks.

My r1 strut bar fits fine under the scoot hood. I did not have to cut anything.

The M2 intercooler duct is sitting too high so it hits the center air scoop on the hood. The M2 air box is known to rub the stock hood so of course it rubs the Scoot hood as well. It does not matter if you use the original or the replica, you will have the same kind of problem.
