This is what my rims looked like when I got my car

Those rims were melted into scrap metal to make this world a beautiful place.

The ebay rims are like a gazillion times worse. I cant believe someone would pay money to make their FD look like that. Sheesh.

Lets start an ugly rims thread and vote on a winner!

How does the RX-7 do it? Still, those are god awful. In fact, I have such a hatred for putting heavy, chrome-dipped wheels on sports cars that whenever a mustang or vette with chrome wheels goes by, my girlfriend mutters about how they're ***** for putting those wheels on before I enough say anything lol.

Hmm.. the GAUL of some people... selling a virtually stock, unmolested, 7 with less than 80k miles. To think they had the nerve to ask for under $10k after putting those horrible rims on.. Shame..

$1.2k will get you brand new 17x8.5/17x9.5 Gram Light wheels/tires. That is one CLEAN 7 for just over $10k so far. Lets see, a compression test, another $80 (give or take) and you know the engine's condition. Hell, from here you've got a pristine base to start working on (if you can stand an automatic). If you call Banzai Racing and ask nicely they even have a harness which will allow you to use a PFC (or other standalone of your choice) and the stock ECU simultaneously (so you can maintain the HOLD feature which came with the auto)...

Gosh, I'd MUCH rather pay more for some car that's half-way modified by some half-wit. What good is a new car without surprises??

Anybody see where I'm going with this? There are MANY more jacked up 7's for sale on ebay...
