Hey guys,





Hope this doesnt sound too much of a weird question..



to set the scene - im hoping to do an engine conversion in my ol' Suzuki LJ80... engine of choice is out of an RX7. Been done before in one of these little trucks, and its suppose to transform it completely..





Thing is.... its rather a short wheelbase thing.. but the rx7 transmission is rather a lot longer than the standard item..



so... question is, is there a common transmission which can be made to fit the rx7 lump easy enough, or am i going to have to make do and stretch the wheelbase to suit.. its going in a custom off-roader jobbie, so its no big deal.. but if i can use a shorter transmission it would definitely be a preference of mine...





any advice would be grand!
