Running Rich After Bypassing Aws, Double Throttle

I just did the vacuum hose job, and replaced my silicone with viton- absolutely great stuff!! While I had it all apart, I bypassed a number of systems on the motor: the AWS, the EGR valve (and removed the solenoid), the double throttle system and associated solenoid, and the throttle body coolant line. I also removed the hot wax unit and cam for the AWS, and to do this, I removed the throttle position sensor, but reset it when I put it back on via the PFC readout.
I have a PFC on the car that was tuned by Steve Kan (and the car had excellent driveability), and when I started the car after this work, it runs horribly rich- tons of smoke, the plugs are sooted, there's soot all over the exhaust, and a very lopey idle.
Is there something that I inadvertently touched that has produced this full rich situation? I also went to the PFC and pulled fuel out of the map across the board (while idling) to see if it changed the idle/smoke, and that did not help at all.
I'd appreciate any suggestions or ideas on this one.....

if you unplug the TPS, it should go to default 0% reading anyway... see if your engine responds to you unplugging it while it's running.

I had checked the TPS settings via the PFC. The narrow angle voltage is at 1.22V, and the wide angle is .52v. The repair manual calls for a range of .75-1.25v on the narrow, and .1-.7v on the wide. I'm within the spec'd range, but a touch on the high side. Shouldn't be that rich, no?
I have the UIM taken off to check all hoses and their destinations...just to make absolutely sure. While I have it off, any thoughts on a stuck fuel injector causing the fuel dumping?
Also, while the car was running, I went into the 'settings' window on the PFC, and in the fuel/ignition timing correction menu, I temporarily adjusted the fuel correction downward, which pulls fuel out of the map across the board. I took it down from 1.000 to .750 with no affect on the rich running- which is why I'm suggesting a faulty injector (primary?).
