Well, the rubber intercooler coupling that joins the x-over pipe to intercooler pipe split. this is my second set in a year. any suggestions on replacements? Something better than OEM, preferably.

Try looking on ebay. there's a million hard intake pipe kits.. I see an intercooler kit every now and again too.

for some reason I read that wrong. I'm sure you could use a silicon coupler, I believe what you'd need is a 2.5" but not for certain.

Another option: EFINI Y-Pipe and Crossover Pipe, Plus a silicon coupler.

Just a thought.

When mine split I went to the auto parts store. Got some braided steel reinforced Gates radiator hose. $1.25/ per inch.

Fairly inexpensive and works GREAT!!!!

I'm not exactly sure to what you are referring? Gates makes braided steel hosing? and you got this at a normal parts store? In 2.5"?? Never seen anything like that! Info!

Yep,

I needed the one that came out of the upper turbo to that plastic pipe that goes into the inter cooler. I replaced it at both ends. I BELIEVE it was 2.75" Inside Diameter. I works really good. Medina Auto Parts Medina Ohio.

Just find a parts store that carries Gates products. Same guys that make the belts.
