Hey SPO ive already posted some answers but i will answer again,no prob.

I plan on using a tec3 and ignition system and tec3 wiring harness

no a/c no p/s.will be a streetlegal race car

porsche 930 transmission

subframe will be tubular steel custom since it the engine will be rear mounted

the exhaust system is the least of my worries right now

my worries right now are just measurements and shoehorning if having too.basically making the layout and how it will work.

huh, ok I saw were you were talking about the Porsche trans but then when you started talking about a 12a 3 rotor I thought you were going to go front mounted engine with a different trans. I didnt realize you were going to try and do a rear engine 12a 3 rotor with a Porsche trans.

Whats your RWHP objective? Are you going to be launching the car at 7K rpms with slicks or road racing or what? If your not going to be doing 7Krpms clutch dumps with slicks the stock 3rd gen trans will actually take a lot of power.

No major clutch dumping here. Not a big dragger.Maybe a roll on drag for money though at night. But it will be made for all sorts of fun.Looks,roll-ons,top speed runs, handling.

Plus a 3rd gen tranny will not have a differential attached like a porsche tranny will.

Also I have another idea on how to squeeze an engine in there,if someone will help explain how the bugatti differential that is connected directly to the crank works.

Holy (bleep)! I hope the weight balance turns out ok! Good Luck! Is the Porsche 911 Tubro (930) transaxle strong enough?

Well ive found a new transmission shop

ranchoperformance.com

A performance transaxle shop or a custom made transmission

I think i will go with them.

As far as engine placement goes,i think i will be able to place the engine mid-rear.So it will be in front of the rear axle. This way i will be sucking all the weight toward the middle of the car.I'm going to take pics tonight when i work on it.it is 13 aug 10:20pm.

8/14

Removed gas tank

Knocked out some dirt

Took measurements

Ihave a couple different ways to mount the engine. The most effecient now seems to be nsx's setup.

Now i need to get a parts diagram on how it is setup and all parts i need
