I still have the handle but it's (obviously) broken off...any ideas on how to fix this so it looks like nothing happened, without getting a whole new door panel? Thanks.

extremely common. happens to just about everyone. The only suggestion I have is to take the panel off the door, look at it from the inside, find a way to re-inforce it, and epoxy the **** out of it. I did that to my door 3 years ago, and it's still fine

take the door panel off and put in a really long screw thru both sides of the handle!

I JB welded mine back on, works awesome.

The handle is more secure then before it snapped!
